A real inbox, not a dashboard
Threads, unread, starred, archive, spam, and trash. Everything you expect from Gmail, on your own domain.
Mailgun and Resend send your email but have no inbox to read the replies, and they delete stored mail after days. Inboxes connects with your API key and gives you a Gmail-like email client: receive, read, and reply from multiple mailboxes, with threads, search, and delivery tracking.
Why Inboxes
Provider dashboards are built for sending: domains, logs, routes, and analytics. Mailgun has no inbox at all; Resend shows received mail read-only with no reply button. Inboxes is the client layer on top, so you can work from hello@ and support@ like a normal mailbox, whichever provider is underneath.
How it works
No DNS gymnastics, no forwarding hacks. Three steps and your Mailgun domain has a home.
Paste the API key from the provider you already use. Connect both if you run both. Keys are encrypted at rest.
Choose a domain and add addresses like hello@ and support@. Inboxes installs the webhooks for you.
Read, reply, search, and track delivery for every mailbox, without living in a provider dashboard.

Quick answers about Mailgun webmail, receiving email, and how Inboxes works.
Inboxes is a Gmail-like webmail client for your Mailgun and Resend domains. You connect your provider API key and domain, and Inboxes gives you an inbox, compose, threads, search, and delivery tracking. Inboxes is independent and not affiliated with Mailgun, Resend, or inboxes.net.
No. The Mailgun control panel is built for sending infrastructure: domains, logs, routes, and analytics. It has no inbox for reading and replying to email. Inboxes adds that inbox on top of your Mailgun account.
Resend shows received email read-only in its dashboard for 30 days and has no reply button; replies are an API call. Resend also sells a separate Inboxes product for agents and teams. Inboxes (inboxes.pro) is a different, independent webmail client that works with your Resend account and keeps your mail after the 30 days.
Yes. Point your domain MX records to Mailgun and create inbound routes. Mailgun can then forward, store, or POST incoming mail to a webhook. Inboxes sets up the routes and webhooks for you, so received mail lands in a real inbox.
Messages kept with the Mailgun store() route action are kept for up to 3 days. Inboxes saves its own synced copy, so your mail stays searchable after Mailgun deletes it.
No. Mailgun remains your email infrastructure. Inboxes stores a synced copy of messages so you can search, thread, and manage mail in one polished UI.
Yes. Connect a Resend API key with Full access, pick a domain, and Inboxes installs the webhook for delivery events and received mail. Turn on Receiving for the domain in Resend and add its MX record; every address on the domain then lands in your inbox. You can connect Mailgun and Resend at the same time.
Yes. Connect a Mailgun or Resend account (or both), then add multiple domains and addresses (for example hello@ and support@ on the same domain). Each mailbox sends through its own provider.
One plan: $5 / month with unlimited Mailgun domains and mailboxes (within your Mailgun limits). You subscribe in the app (Paddle) right after signup, before onboarding.
No. Subscription fees are non-refundable. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
During setup we help you configure Mailgun routes and webhooks so new mail appears in your Inboxes inbox in near real time.
Your API key is encrypted at rest on our servers. It is never exposed to the browser after you connect.
